In 1994, prior to forming the Bridge Foundation, the principals helped create a forensics laboratory in Split, Croatia. The laboratory, which is still being supported today by Bridge, was created to help identify human remains by DNA matching from mass gravesites located throughout Bosnia following the Balkan Conflict.
