Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization, delivered two tractor-trailer loads of bottled water to residents of Boulder and the surrounding vicinity following the relentless rains causing mudslides and unprecedented flooding.

After more than a week of torrential downpours, the current toll is eight confirmed dead and almost 700 still unaccounted for. More than 4,500-square-miles of Colorado's Front Range have been devastated. Thousands have been forced to evacuate their homes and thousands of homes and farms have been destroyed.

As the massive flooding has washed out pumping stations and many wells, potable water is high on the list of what is needed. Today, two truckloads of approximately 75,000 bottles of drinking water will be delivered to emergency response teams to distribute to people in need. Bridge will continue to coordinate with local responders to determine additional needs.
