In the days following the catastrophic tsunami in 2004, Bridge Foundation sent emergency air-shipments of supplies including antibiotics and bandages to Banda Aceh, Indonesia and Colombo, Sri Lanka.    These shipments, in response to the unprecedented human toll wrought by the tsunami, were provided to local healthcare practitioners in the days following the disaster.

The devastating 9.0 magnitude earthquake struck off the Indonesian coast, causing a tidal wave that devastated the lives of millions from Southern Asia to the Horn of Africa.
