Bridge Foundation aids those affected by magnitude 7 Earthquake in Haiti

New Canaan, Connecticut – Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut based humanitarian relief organization announced it plans a series of humanitarian flights to assist those affected by the unprecedented earthquake which struck Haiti.  An advance team is scheduled to depart today for Port au Prince.

Bridge Foundation Aids Those Affected by Ongoing Hostilities in War-Torn Darfur

New Canaan, Connecticut – Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization announced it has delivered a medical relief flight to assist those affected by ongoing hostilities in the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan.

The airlift, the 5th to the Darfur region, is part of the Darfur Project's Clinton Global Initiative Commitment, “The Darfur Project, 2007.”

Bridge Foundation Announces Immediate response to assist Gulf Coasts' Hurricane Gutsav Victims

Update: New Canaan’s Bridge Foundation Leads Effort in area of Louisiana being targeted by Hurricane Gustav.

New Canaan, CT – Bridge Foundation began its response to Hurricane Gutsav on Sunday August 31, 2008. An advance team is due to arrive tonight in Jackson, Mississippi prior to the hurricanes arrival the following day. Initial efforts will be two high capacity generators that are in transit to Monroe, Louisiana.  Additional supplies consisting of several truckloads of bottled water is also in transit from Georgia to meet the immediate needs of those affected.

Bridge Foundation continues aid to Darfur refugees who have fled to neighboring Chad

New Canaan, Connecticut - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut based humanitarian relief organization announced its 4th humanitarian flight to assist those affected by on-going hostilities in the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan who have fled to neighboring Chad.

Bridge Foundation's airlift to Abeche, Chad is part of The Darfur Project's Clinton Global Initiative commitment for 2008 to help women, children and elderly displaced by the conflict in Darfur and Eastern Chad and follows on Bridge's project in Nyala, Sudan in April.
