Update: New Canaan’s Bridge Foundation delivering assistance to Sumatra, Indonesia for those devastated by tidal wave in southern Asia.
New Canaan, CT – JBridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization announced it’s 2nd air shipment for the victims of the tsunami. The shipment will go from Bridge Foundation’s warehouse in Amsterdam to Jakarta, Indonesia for onward carriage to Banda Aceh. The supplies will help victims of the recent tsunami caused by the largest earthquake in more than 40 years that has brought the death toll to more than 150,000.

Bridge Foundation delivering Emergency Health Kit to Sri Lanka |

New Canaan, CT - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization announced it's first shipment to Colombo, Sri Lanka to help victims of the recent tsunami caused by the largest earthquake in more than 40 years that has brought the death toll to more than 68,000.
"Bridge Foundation is proud to deliver much needed supplies to aid the people of Sri Lanka during this difficult time," said Stephen Skakel, Bridge Foundation Director.

Bridge Foundation delivers Humanitarian airlift to Jamaica |

Miami, Florida - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut based humanitarian relief organization announced it delivered a humanitarian flight to assist the victims of Hurricane Ivan. This was the fifth humanitarian relief mission to Hurricane-Ravaged Areas.
"Bridge Foundation is proud to deliver much needed supplies to help the people of Jamaica during this difficult time," said Drew Hannah, Bridge Foundation Chairman.

Bridge Foundation Leads Hurricane Frances Effort in Florida |

New Canaan, CT - Bridge Foundation began its response to Hurricane Frances on Friday September 3, 2004. An advance team arrived in Vero Beach, Florida prior to the hurricanes arrival the following evening. Four high capacity Generators had been pre-positioned in anticipation of Frances' landfall along Florida's Treasure coast.
The first generator was used in Palm Bay, Florida by the City of Palm Bay Utilities Plant. The generator was used to restart electrical grid substations as well as power several water pumping stations.

Connecticut Foundation Delivers Power to Alabama Hurricane Victims |

New Canaan, CT - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut based humanitarian relief organization, supplied two 200kw high capacity generators to Alabama's Gulf Coast region in response to Hurricane Ivan.
Bridge Foundation principals, Stephen Skakel and Andrew Hannah were on the ground in Mobile as Ivan made landfall during the evening hours of September 15th.
