Bridge Foundation Delivering Urgently Needed Supplies to earthquake ravaged China |

Update: New Canaan’s Bridge Foundation delivering assistance to Chengdu, Sichuan Province, China for those devastated by the recent earthquake.
New Canaan, CT – Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization announced its 1st shipment for the victims of the earthquake. The shipment will go from Bridge Foundation’s warehouse in Amsterdam to Beijing for onward carriage to Chengdu Airport. The supplies will help victims of the recent earthquake that has brought the death toll to more than 40,000 with thousands more still missing. Bridge Foundation’s shipment included urgently needed antibiotics and sutures that will arrive in the coming days to Chegdu.

Bridge Foundation Aids Those Affected by Ongoing Hostilities in War-Torn Darfur |

New Canaan, Connecticut - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut-based humanitarian relief organization announced it delivered a medical relief flight to assist those affected by ongoing hostilities in the war-torn Darfur region of Sudan.
Bridge Foundation's airlift to Nyala, South Darfur is part of The Darfur Project's Clinton Global Initiative commitment for 2007-2008 to help women, children and elderly displaced by the conflict in Darfur and Eastern Chad and follows on Bridge's project in Chad last December. The Darfur Project's Founder Christine Ward accompanied Bridge Foundation during a visit to Abeche, Guerada and Gaga refugee camp just prior to Christmas last year. |

Bridge Foundation delivers desperately needed humanitarian aid shipments to North Korea |

New Canaan, Connecticut - Bridge Foundation, the New Canaan, Connecticut based humanitarian relief organization announced it delivered the first of two humanitarian shipments to Pyongyang.
The Democratic Peoples Republic of Korea, often called the “Hermit Kingdom,” has been almost completely isolated from the world community for more than 50 years. The country has been plagued by famine, natural disasters and economic mismanagement creating an enormous demand for assistance. Greatly exacerbating the already dire situation is recent flooding that has devastated the central and southern regions of the country. Hundreds have been perished and thousands left homeless.
